Like I said to you when I was under your car on the weekend. The rear sub frame on the BJs and BAs look the same. Just the swaybar mounting points are welded on different places. We know the trailling arms are the same. Now it could turn out the latteral links may be the same too.

Was that the rear link though?

The rear one on a BA is 625mm and the front one is 660.

So if the rear on a BJ is 660mm, then the front must be 695mmish?

the BA and BJ subframes "looks the same" but they're not as you pointed out with the sway bar mountings

Peeps,

If I wanna move a 586mm tyre inward by 5mm at the top, am I right in saying I need to add 1 degree of camber? Or 0.98 degree or 59 minutes to be exact.

Thanks.

Cool some my geometry from school (14-16 years ago) still works in my head. Though my old man head had forgot it all. lol

Mean I can fit 15x8 +25 rims without rubbing.

Hehe maths is awesome
But that was basing the wheel will pivot around its center to camber, but I think it does (or very close to)

The rear one on a BA is 625mm and the front one is 600, not 660mm. Oops!!!

So if the rear on a BJ is 660mm, then the front must be 695mmish?

You sure? The is 100mm shorter than I would've though! And the rear ones are longer than the front ones. So the is a boo boo somewhere there.

I couldnt get an accurate enough length for the fronts, but considering the centre mounting point is 50mm inwards of the bolts for the rear links, this is how I came up with it being 25mm longer on the fronts

Still not making sense to me when the BJ rear link was longer than the BA rear link when place next to eachother.

The original 660mm you got would've made sense. Now I'm all confused. lol.

Well, going off tbe link kit you can get from the states, n2ka said the links were 571mm or 22.5".

The links where they meet up to the spindle w looked flush, so yeah im confused too.

BA ball joint - the pin/shaft that goes into the upright with the bolt to hold it in place. Is it 18mm on a BA?

If no one else knows I'll pop the knuckle off tomorrow and take a look. My ol' H/T ia already on stands with wheels and struts removed. Next week it's gone (fingers crossed).
