Tamiya Type D drift tyres have arrived! So now I am just waiting for my handling upgrade and batteries to arrive before the next session.

So I currently have my R/C car with me on holidays at the coast, and well I finally got it out so I could charge a battery... and fell asleep... and woke up 2.5hrs later

Anyways I usually only charge the 3800MaH batteries for 1hr on the Ansmann, but fark the extra time has certainly made a HUGE difference!

Oh, this is the surface I play around with, getting the car to grind the gutter & pull off 180's is fun

The new batteries have arrived, and the good news is that run time has greatly improved with the first pack! The bad news is that they are a tight fit, but at least I won't need to wrap insulation tape around them to stop them moving around. I'm just waiting on my new adjustable suspension to arrive for the drift car, so I don't wear my tyres out lopsidedly again.
