Sorry typo on that one 20c. They have been used a couple of times before thats why so cheap as the charger is normally $150. Took it out on grip tyres to see what speed I cound get and broke both hex's on the rear wheels with the locked diff within 5 mins. I really need to get some alloy ones to stop that. Am looking at getting these to fix that issue.

you will soon realise why these cars are so cheap :P fine for going sideways slowly but start adding grip and things get twisted pretty quick. decided on a T2 '009 for the chassis as they are pretty cheap due to the T3 being released. anyone gone to the cannon hill drifts -every thursday night aparently... thinking of going tonight to check it out?

yeah, i dont check rctech very often, the evo is a bit too old for them to come up regularly, and the market is too small for them to instantly sell (even the drifters are going for newer cars, like the evo V or pro d) but i love the chassis, and wanted one ever since i saw one (not too many chassis i could say that about, maybe consider a yokomo ssg if they were ever in decent nick - but same deal, i was just lucky to find probably the only carpet raced evo.)
and post asap on that car when u get it considered the corally's rdx??

one thing marc - make dead sure your mesh is bang on - or you will do a few things - all of which arent good and cost money to fix :P
get a sheet of paper and use that to set the mesh correctly (pinion spur)

so I had fun last night, installed the motor and esc, and went for a rip in the local carpark, well I found out the car doesnt like speedbumps at speed anyways it flipped a couple times and ripped the wires off the fan forthe esc I have soldered the wires back on, but am unsure of what or how I should secure the esc... Double sided tape perhaps? As I cant secure it with a ziptie from underneath...
other then that it HAULS ASS

Use the 3M d/s tape with the checkers on the peal away bit. It is VERY sticky.

yeah 3m stuff, or the stuff from hpbby city is really good too and about 1/100 of the price!
velcro (brand named stuff) has also served me well in offroad with nothing else.

i really want a car NOW! sitting at home bored with no car could get my stampede running again but wanna drift!
edit: splurged probably too much but what the hell. i can afford the best in rc just not in 1:10 so heres my latest purchase. have to buy and paint a shell but what to buy... thinking rx7 but would be cool to have an rx8 (i love those things!) anyone seen one before, that or a (wait for it) skyline, as their shape looks great on models... just not a fan in 1:1... opinions> since drifts are at night thinking either orange as i did with my 1.8 buggy or a blue pearl

Nice looking chassis. What is it? For a shell I always say get something different or unique like my next shell which will look awesome drifting.
