ok so apparently the fuel pump relay MFI/MPI relay is next to your right kick panel and should look something like this
here is an outline of the injection wiring i didnt have enough time to do more research but a bit of googling i found that to be the most common search for "mitsubishi fuel pump relay". i may have typed in "MFI" hope that helps

Thanks to above..
But.......... What i Mother F***er of a f***ing bitch of a **** to find. I looked everywhere and called mitsubishi and they couldn't help with a fuel relay etc.. I changed the fuel pump and still nothing, then i had no choice to change the crank and cam sensor (and let me tell you not fun on a quad cam and where they sit, basically nearly like doing a full timing belt on this V6) Anyways and still nothing next was going to be coil pack, ignition module and god know what else, but decided to check every fuse with a test light regardless what the fuse box said. So i came across the "engine" fuse (top picture left bottom corner marked as Engine 20A (30A)) that is actually part of fuel relay in these cars. But after about 7hours i'm happy at the moment. But tested the fuel pump and was 100% stuffed ! What a day haha |
