Efini Badging

Hi all,
I was wondering if the standard Rx7 Efini badge would fit onto my 97 astina BA hatch..? The red efini badge would look smashing on my red hatch !!!

There is a small indentation on the both the front and rear mazda owl badges, do i need a little body and paint work ? or is it just a straight forward strip and stick on..?

Here's the badge i'm eyeing

$24.90 USD without post, a little pricy but worth it..if it can fit

Thanks to anyone who can answer my question...

since you original badges are oval shaped and these newbies are trianglar, i'd say your body work will require some modding.

Suppose it would depend on wether or not you have holes where the badge fits into, if this is the case, they may need to be bogged and new ones created.

As far as I know, I'm the first one to do this, did it months ago and I love them!

Little tip though, try and find the Efini badges without the coloured backings, they are smaller, don't have pins on the back and are better shaped (if that makes sense)

My car with the badges:

So using an Efini badge on an Astina is a little precocious.
