Unknown 2001 SP20 vent

Hey guys,

I had my stock headunit out installing my Auxmod over the weekend and afterwards while driving had a rubber hose drop down onto my foot?!

After some interesting acrobatics (as I didn't want to pull the dash apart...) I was able to locate that it went from a white slip on hose connection behind the Air Con dials up to a small vent to the lower left of the steering wheel.

Any ideas what this vent does? I have a suspicion that it is something to do with the climate control...

Cheers

Yeah there is a little vent just to the lower left of the steering wheel that is involved with climate control - but I always thought that there would just be a sensor behind this panel rather than a hose - but it makes sense.

I thought it was just a temperature sensor.
