BG Air intake

i want to change up the air intake for my BG im wondering what parts i need to keep to make the car still work

I'm no expert on the bg (but i have seen a couple)
Theres an airflow sensor just after the airfilter- you need that sensor (and everything after it) to run the engine but everything before it( air filter- piping, etc) isn't technically needed- but you want some kind of filter if your gonna drive anywhere....
And when i'm talking about before and after the airflow sensor, I mean that in relation to the way the air goes through

so if i take out the filter, and say moved it into the bumper with a pod on it keeping the AFM i would be right?

Better off using a high-flow panel filter and some better ducting from bumper to the bottom of the airbox, if you want more power.

Rupe would you recommend a K&N panel filter? also they have an "air intake kit" http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?prod=57-0117, would i be better spending the extra $100 on that

I ended I cutting the bitten of the factory air box off a the part that connects to the snorkel that goes to the quarter panel and did the same as derb but without the front facing hole
