AGT Mod Day - October 2011

Hey guys,

Seeing as though November 2010's Mod Day was such a success and people want to do one again, this thread is the result

To give people a run down:

Bring what you wanna mod/do
Bring the tools you'll need (I do have the normal stuff like shifters/spanners/jack stands etc)
Everyone has a great day
Great Fush & Chups store down the road

Link to the old thread: http://www.astinagt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17076

Date is confirmed for Sunday 16th of October.

Anyone looking at coming please PM me & I will let you know of my address.

Cheers
Marc

I should be able to make it any Sunday and im more than willing to help anyone with what needs to be done.(Sam with his CAI and Darryl with re-wiring his mirrors)
I kind of think my car will be almost complete by then with nothing left to do hopefully unless I leave installing my sway bars until then.
If anyone has any computers that need repairing bring them on the day and I will fix them for you.

I will check the calendar tonight but I think that October is generally free

September social events have almost started

Otherwise can load compressor and tools on a ute and give ya a hand if anyone needs it.
Front sway bar on your car would be fun on the ground Phil.

I'm thinking I will pay my mechanic to fit the front bar and do the rest myself if possible.
If we do it bathurst day none of us will touch our car.

How long would it take to do a Retrofit of my Headlights. I have a second set of lights I am going to use.
I know I need an oven to get them open etc.
I would like to get this done soon so I can enjoy driving the SP20 before we have to sell it.
I might get a CAI too if I am doing some track work with it.
Also have the rear sway bar I bought from Marc and will have the camber bolts to install.
Sh(t that's a longer list than I thought.
- Headlights
- Swaybar
- Camber bolts
- CAI
- Also have Auto side Mirrors to install (its a gimmick I know but still cool)

All those jobs strangely enough will end up taking longer than you thought.
The auto mirrors is slightly larger job than you think and will be much easier when I receive the entire JDM wiring diagram.

Oh, well perhaps I won't need to run a cable across the passenger cabin

Will wait patiently for this. Although my passenger mirror may be dead as it tends to fold inwards using a bit of pressure - I'm fairly certain it is not supposed to do that

They are designed to fold in un powered.
