I'm tending toward a BPT ATM.
This is fitment of the Greedy turbo timer I scored for 2,000Y ($22 Aussie).
If I was to use the standard bracket (which is the easiest option) it would sit 10mm to 12mm higher. DIY brackets are two strips of aluminium drilled, bent and epoxied to the underside of the shroud.

All local models should have 240km speedos.
In JDM land they limit them to 180 so there is no proof that your car is faster than mine.
Those pics are from my I4 hatch not my V6 hardtop.

Look what came today
- Yep, that's a VJ23. It spins easy and appears to have no play in the shaft.
- I have both cams and two cam gears.
- Not shown is the GT-Ae ECU

I'm not sure myself

BTW the cams are 'B'spec, they may be a little too agressive for turbo. My plan is to install a BPT and uprgade the Turbo and ECU and look at Rx-7 injectors and MAF.

I'm sure others will have an opinion but here goes mine...
An NA engine can use the inertia/flow of the exhaust gas leaving the engine to create a vacuum effect. If the inlet valve opens just before the exhaust valve closes then you can use tht inertia/flow to drag more mix into the engine and create more power, this is called overlap. In a turbo charged engine this can cause some of the air/fuel mix to blow through the engine and be wasted so you send expensive petrol out of the exhaust (also called polution) and get no power benefit.
There is much more to the story but you're going to have to find it yourself.

cams will be okay if you dial back the intake cam using the cam gear. decreasing the overlap. thought it you wanna sell those 255d cams, i'm sure i know of a buyer that wants them.
