NO 323 BA Workshop Manual ??

ive searched around and couldnt find a manual or pretty much neythin close to a guide for this car lol, found 1 but was in russian and the Haynes website dosent have much anything either ahah. http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...category=10001

Is there one out there?, pdf?

Better off getting the local English versions, cost-wise and certainly readability-wise.

What's a better book to go with?

The workshop manual I have for my Mazda R100 is ****ing fantastic - great photos, very in-depth explanations, the works.

The one I had for my 1962 EK Holden was also fantastic - just as many great diagrams and step-by-step guides.

I'm considering sending a letterbomb or some Anthrax to the people at Haynes.

Just to revive an old thread, went looking for a manual to buy. Holy crap, over $200 just for the base manual and hundreds of dollars more to buy all the supplements. Plus you need a 100mm ring binder to keep it all in.

Or am I looking at the wrong thing?

Correct. Most common pages people have scanned, I have the first, not many have the wiring part. Easier to ask for specifics then a whole book and someone may be willing to scan/photograph for you

Isn't that at the front of the engine? Find out how the belt tensioners work, loosen a few bolts remove belt and alt. Manual off the top of my head doesn't give a specific how to on removal of an alternator.

Hi I just want t see the quality of the book really so if it has anything on alternator, ac motor or even intake manifold if some one can post it and let me know which book it comes from as I'm happy to buy a copy for myself if helpful.

It's pretty much just a drawing and a list of steps to remove. Assumes all knowledge is known. Has tolerances, clearances etc and a good trouble shooting guide. I've got a few pics of it in my photo bucket. (user name is esavageforme) in the astina album.

the one published by mazda is the most detailed and concise book for your car... it has all of the detailed specs and diagrams on each component.... no other manual can match it... it does not however hold your baby hands and tell you how to do elementary things like a haynes manual would... they have a disclaimer stating that their manuals are for trained mazda technicians only, so that's reason enough

You can sometimes find info in other models' manuals. For instance the Gregorys mx5 manual for 1.8 info. You just have to be aware of the differences between engine series, assume torque settings and the like are wrong etc. For the v6 engine, removing an alternator, you could perhaps find the required info in a manual for a different car that came with this engine.
Not recommended for babies but then again none of us are.

I have some basic mechanical knowledge just wanted to see a few pages before you spend $300 for the set. I have seen a Hayes one and didn't think it was that great.
