1997 BA Front Strut Top Mounts

I remember searching for these a couple of years ago with no luck.... as I refuse to pay Mazda $180 each.
Are aftermarket replacements for these available in Australia at the moment? Mine are fairly well cactus.

Yep. Got a pair from repco. Retail isn't much better than Mazda. I ended up paying something like $180 for the pair.

Fark that's expensive. America is cheaper. I bought mine from summitracing, the protégé sold over there is pretty much the same car with different shape panels.
Looking at my old invoice it was $233.92 for all 4 strut tops including shipping, took about an hour and a half to replace them all with a spring compressor and an impact wrench.

rock auto and amazon.com are also cheap for car parts

it's slightly cheaper from rockauto, and probably better choices
I chose the KYB ones from rockauto and did a shipping estimate to brissy... it came out a little less than what you paid

I looked at Rockauto and was more expensive (only just slightly) to my door... also got KYB.

Also - if you know the US part numbers try Amazon.com. Quite often their International Shipping will make an order cheaper than RockAuto or Summit/Jeggs etc.
