Where is the standard air intake for the BG

G'day Guys,

Firstly, where is the intake pipe? There is a small narrow black pipe going from under the passenger head light, ending in front of the battery? Also, a black pipe going from the bottom of the filter, down, then loops, then goes back up?

I have a 92 SP DOHC, i have a panel filter installed by K&N. I am looking at putting a piece of bendable tube/pipe from the front/under of the car, directly connecting to the air intake. I have seen it done with some storm-flex flexible tubing, it starts under the car.. where the air is fresh and cool, ending up where the pod is.

I want to keep my panel filter, but have a new intake pipe. This way, i will get cool, fresher air into my intake. I am assuming that the car will have a little balls after this simple mod!?

Please advise!

Cheers

DAN.
