Stagg SHS Struts &?

So I came across a set of shocks on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tchlink:top:en

and decided to do some research, to the day I haven't heard anything bad about them. I own a 2005 Sp23 with 120,000 with original shocks, and the ride is terrible at the moment. I am looking to give these a try but have come across a problem, should I also replace the springs or keep the originals.

Do the springs wear away very easily especially after 120,000 and if I was to replace them, what would you guys recommend that is quality made and not to pricey. I'm not looking for insane handling, I simply want a smoother ride.
