Just looked at the weights, 5.09, 5.10, 5.040, 5.041kg. 949Racing must send them out at closely match weighted pairs. Good as they originally were gonna be 5.40kg.

Also progressed with the oil pressure sender. As I got the old one off the old engine. Both the new aftermarket sender and the oem sender have the same tread. Also checked clearance if a T piece was used (Rod's/Cosmo's advice) and there is enough room if the oem sender goes above the oil filter.

Since I am an unemployed bum as of 9am yesterday morning. I have alot more time to get stuff done.

Unpacked the rims...

They come pretty well protected. Wheel sock and plastic rim protector.

Untouched...

Just enough lip to make me happy. Could do with some more. Toying with some 8" wide for the fronts, so that'll add 12mm to the lip.

Completed with centre cap and valves. Although I'll most likely do away with the centre caps.

So just to throw a spanner in the works. The Wilwood big brake kit I was working on will not clear the rims. I'll post up a thread shortly with my plans.

Might have to invest in some 15x8 +36 949 Racing 6UL rims w/ 225/45R15s fitted.

Yes still using the lightweights. I just have 10 various semi slick tyres to fit. The missus face get more red every time I add more tyres to the growing pile.

Job front all okay. Walked away with 1/3 years pay.

Missus had 2nd baby recently, haven't done squat to the car recently.

Picked up the DZ03Gs today. 2 have plenty of meat on them, 3-4mm. 2 are pretty much on their end of life, 1-2mm. They can go on the rears, since they are just dragging around not doing much.

Can't ask for much when you pay $99.

Do you have to drill your own bolt holes?

That's cool - didn't know you could buy blank ones, but it makes sense!
