Haha, you're too far away! I'll just wait until Rupe finds me one

It goes from bulky to streamline just like that hey! That just reminds me, i need to put water in my washer bottle! Just so i can see if they work!

you have the wiper blades on backwards!
the sloped side is supposed to face the forwards

see if you can flip the locking mechanisms around so that you can install the blades in the proper direction

don't believe me? check out what the stock GH Mazda6, CX-7, CX-9, ZZE140 wiper blades look like what you have is essentially the same
check the advertisement pic in that GB thread too... it shows what I'm talking about too

Could only go on one way....I'm not saying i don't believe you, but I'm not sure what you mean...

Are you just saying, take it off, turn the wipers the other way around and then put them back on?? What's the difference?

You do have them on the wrong way
The sloped side needs to point towards the bonnet.

The clip will only go on one way but I'm sure that you will be able to spin them 180 degress and still get them to work

Looking good! Definitely looks better now, rather than looking at the standard wipers with all the holes and all haha

the hinged clip where the wiper arm's hook attaches needs to be rotated 180 degrees for you to flip the wiper blades around to the correct direction

please do let me know if this can be done, if it can, then I might be looking into getting these blades in the future.... I didn't get in the GB because my car is LHD, which means the wipers go the "wrong way"

I'll let you know ed. I'd say it can flip the 180 but i think the wiper itself will get in the way of the arm. Will check it out though.

like I said... you can't just take it off and flip it around... the clip must be removed (part of the blade), then flipped around, assuming it's even possible

I know it is with the stock wiper blades

Don't think its possible. I had a good look for you, but it seems to be just moulded in with the plastic. Also the little trap door thing is removable but you can't attatch it on the other side. Once you remove that though the whole thing can swivel around 360 but it would be upside down for you.

Some pics for ed:

Better pics with wipers around the right way

Shame that you can't get them. I'm sure there is a similar product available for LHS cars.

I actually did paint it them the other day, but it chipped off with the gerny. Wasn't impressed.

you need some heat to let the paint cure.... it'll be much more resistant to chipping, trust me

paint them again, but put them in a low heat oven to let it cure.... or put them inside a hot car... it'll work too... did it for some of the parts I painted last year... I threw all that crap in my beater and the paint was much more harder after it got "baked"... no longer soft and prone to chipping

Question for the mechanical minded peoples...

Is this just the tappets need adjusting? Car runs fine/drives fine, just has a tick tick tick...

If the sp20's have hydraulic lifters you probably need to change the oil.

If not.. you still probably need to. Its normally a symptom of either thinned oil or dirty oil with lower flow
