It is a V6 varient. To do anything inside the engine bay is a bitch to do. Simple fact.

My mechanic has suggested its only the rocker cover gasket, taking it back next week to get sorted. Shouldn't cost too much.
Anywhos here are some more pics i got around to taking. Show you some of the downs of the car which i plan on fixing/replacing

rear end, possible despoilerisation, debadge, remove tow-bar, leave the rest clean

A photo to demonstrate the state of the colour atm, not very nice in some areas but thats begun to start getting fixed. Roof and bonnet looked similar but after a bit of attention look much better. When the weather prevails i'll get around to doing it properly all over.

Still undecided weather i want to put a lip on the car... Its not something that needs to be tended too anytime soon.

HID kit for the headlights to come in soon, some brighter parker bulbs and going to do something with the foggies very soon

Standard interior shot, its pretty tidy in there, except for...

this... which dosnt bother me that much, thinking of going a mazdaspeed bucket to replace or an SR3 if i CBF dishing out the dosh

and this! Which is annoying me, cause it feels nasty to hold, and cant grip the wheel properly... this is being rectified shortly

last one, plans for this, currently fix the rocker cover leaks, after market strut brace (need to research, thinking cusco/mazdaspeed), some form of induction, possibly extractors a bit further down. Not really a heap of power mods.

So getting tyres done right now, then it's off to get alignment!

Went with the re001 potenza's. Should be a good bit grippy over the ****house champiros on there ATM.

Also got some new oil magnatec, and vmx for the box with a fresh oil filter.

Next Friday I'm going on a trip up to tweed heads from Sydney! So should be good to stretch the stina's legs

Shat yeah. Cheap tyres are NEVER an alternative

That magnatech is crap like any gimmick oil Penrite is always a safe bet for the money. I use 10w in all my cars & engines are quite, burn negligible oil even when driven hard. Just good advice dude but do what you want.

Paint has come up all right too & bay is very clean. Guess after the repairs? Nice ride

You know i finally got time to take the car for a proper spirited drive through the twisties.

After the new tyres are on, and the alignment was set up to my liking (have gone to the same place every time for my previous cars) it drives really ****ing well considering its all standard.

The oil, and filter change actually made a big bit of difference on smoothness of power delivery, feels nice being above 4g all the time through the twist's.

Actually alot more fun then i anticipated to drive. The v6 putt's along very well for a small 2litre.

I reckon a polished/silver lip would look good on them. Otherwise it loos like you're running steelies
