He's not too bad. He took over the shop from the older guy that was there previously - it might have even been his dad.

I think that I paid $170 a few years ago for my current set (might have been because I didn't use much lead. He makes them up fairly quickly so you basically just have to drive up and he will do them then and there. Colours were red, blue and yellow last time I was there.

I have had a few problems with the boots that connect to my coils coming undone will being gently pulled off.

Mat are you getting leads for the standard ignition system?

on a fly by wire throttle, maybe yes, but i doubt it is more than just a placebo effect.

cable throttles, most likely not.

On fly by wire I doubt the circuit uses the chassis earth at all.
Only time I've felt a genuine effect from earthing was on the 929 and that was because I was compensating for a then unknown ignition problem. Once I fixed that problem I doubt that my big earth did anything. That earth was a battery cable connected to the head one end and the coil/chassis the other end.

Its worth a try, if you actually clean the places you're going to mount the wires to

Considering buying this roll of blue 8guage wire which gives 3m, anyone wanna go halves?

ill go halfs. what sort of connectors would we need for that thickness?

u sure 8 guage is thick enough? the lower the guage the thicker the wire yer?

edit: its probly easier to go to autobahn/ a electrical store (jay car) and just buy the length you need

Black 'Scuff Stuff' liquid shoe polish. Don't know if it's still available but it's good for almost all external rubber bits.

How long does it take for paint to dry?
Preperation preperation preperation...
Make sure it's clean and if you're planing on having polished raised lettes then polish them before you prep sp you don't damage your paint later.

If you are going to go for wrinkle paint, might I suggest you bake it in the oven for 10mins on low heat to fasten the whole process? Also use a heatproof clear, too
