astie's project --> astie
this is my first car and i just got it 2 weeks ago from a private seller. it is a completely stock car except for the hub caps
this is what i've done so far and i'm pretty happy with it... considering I'm still a student and i don't really get a lot of money First day when I got my car: First mod! philips blue vision headlight 4000k - $40: Custom leather shifting boot with red double stitching from uk ebay - $20: Second hand BBS 16"x7" wheels. replaced my stock 14" - $350: Today! Removed my hideous black side strip. Took me 3hours with a hair dryer, then used Turtle Wax Liquid Clay Bar to remove the sticky stuff, it works like magic!!! Highly recommend!: NOW: Future: really looking forward to lower it and get some side skirt and front lip Last edited by astie; 14-10-2010 at 09:28 PM. Reason: typo |

the BBS rims really suit the era of the car! Definitely reduction in height should be next

I FUKING LOVE IT MAN
those rims really hit it off with the rest of the car. in fact the rims and the car are probs making little rim/car babies RIGHT NOW haha (im still drunk from last night.. HAH) definately lower it may i reccomend coilovers i would say D2 just cus i have them and they are great (and stand up to a damn great load of abuse as ryan tested) but everyone seems to be getting BC coilovers (or something i cant remember) if u set it up properly u wont need bigger sway bars |

thanks all! not sure about coilovers because they might be a bit bumpy for daily drive to the city. but will c how it goes .. my budget is more on the lowered spring side .. and a "lotus style" side skirt and a zxi front lip

You should also remove the stone guard from just in front of the rear tyres.
