ok so now i have a VF10 wat now

hey guys. i rinally got my hands on a vf10 and looking to do a swap asap. so wat if any will i need for the swap. i will replace all gaskets while im there but do i need to redrill and thing or any thing like that b4 i go ahead and rip the old turbo out of my bpt.

there was a really good write up on fordlaser.com

but i think its now lost stupid h4x0rs

port the wastgate on your vj20 turbo (if yo have one)
re drill the wastgate mount so you can turn the turbine around, so it faces like the vj20

bolt it up to your vj20 housing...

find some water lines to fit, oil ones fit

you singing away :P

y do i need to port the wastegate on vj20? if im replacing the turbo i should be using the wastegate on the new one? im a complete noob wen it comes to engines so hehehe

the VF10 bolts up to the vj20 exhaust housing
but it can overboost with the tiny wastegate hole int he vj20 housing

so you port it as big as it can go,,allows more controlled boost

if your replacing the turbo completely then you need to make adapters and have a dump pipe made up to fit the vf10..lost more work

easier to do the "hybrid" vf10 compressor to vj20 exhaust..

its a bolt up option..just have to get the intake piping sorted for it
