The chance of someone having this part lying unused is highly unlikely, however a few of us QLD people are talking about a group buy of new team M factory LSD's in a couple of months to save on shipping.
At the moment there are 4-5 people in QLD interested in one.

Maybe not on this forum, but the amount of people involved in the first group buy, someone must have one not installed that they dont want anymore.

The shipping cost from Mfactory isnt that much, have you worked out what price they will do them for? I need one now, but I can throw a non lsd box in the car for a few months if im saving a decent amount.

If you want to do a mini buy and order two, assuming you can't find one, let me know. Anyone else in Melbourne area with money burning a hole in your pocket who wants an Mfactory diff NOW speak up.

Yep I need one soonish as I just smashed my Infini LSD to pieces at Calder Park last week. I'll give it a week or so on the second hand front and see what pops up.

you might as well upgrade to the H series box and then put the MFactory in it!

The car is naturally aspirated so h-type is not an option, they have the worst ratios for an NA car. Coupled with the fact that I ****ing hate H-type gearboxes, they are terrible to drive with, g-series always shift much nicer.

For anyone interested, I got in contact with the Mfactory Australian distributor. He has 26 spline g-series units in stock in Aus for around $750 delivered, he is emailing me an exact price in the next day or so. Will post up what he says.

Nah just a private sale, someone saw I was looking for one one facebook and contacted me.

You can contact the Australian distributor on 0434 151 720. He had 26 spline ones in stock when I spoke to him yesterday, you will have to call and ask him if he has any 28 spline ones.

Ok the Australian distributor emailed me back, his price is $775 delivered, plus you have to buy bearings. He sells the bearings for $55 a pair.

So you'd be up for $830inc GST and delivery.

that's a welded mazdaspeed lsd... and it's not really welded!
this is how it's supposed to be welded:

go find someone who can do good tig welding and get it done before you put it in!
I would replace those bearings too if I were you!

It is welded properly, There is just oil covering the welding.

I'll clean it, take a closer photo then post it.

Australian distrubutor said he had MFactory ones in stock, but a friend of mine actually ordered one from him a couple months ago and said it took a week to come and arrived via China EMS, so he must just order them himself straight from MFactory in Taiwan.

I ended up finding a brand new one someone never got around to installing and decided to sell it to me. I figured with the amount of diffs that were made in the first group buy, there would have to be one floating around somewhere.

And yeah thats a Mazdaspeed diff, I recently pulled one out of a box to replace it with a Guru Motorsport Torsen diff, my mate killed the Mazdaspeed diff. It was ok with a stockish car, but he was pushing 260kw+ at the wheels from a 2.2litre and it just wasnt cutting it.

260kw is a lot of power!
I think the limit on those are around 225kw, which hasn't been a problem for my friend whose car has around that much power

more importantly though, torque is what put stresses in gears over power for the most part... those F2Ts make crazy torque!

Not sure, but mine came out of a guy running 26 PSI on a 2.o FS-DE engine with a HOLSET turbo.
With all the revision he did on the LSD, welded the pin, welded the LSD etc, it didn't give up and was removed after 10,000 km's because he got his car back to stock for selling.

Thats was his setup:
-Holset hy35
-pushing 350 hp
-Mazdaspeed LSD v3
-Updated 3rd 4th shift fork
-Competition Stage 3 Kevlar Clutch

I'll get some more infos from him and let you know.
