FS [QLD] FE3 2.0L Engine
Im going to regret this but i need a cash injection to finish my KC TX3....
I bought this 2.0l FE3N from my local wreckers, it was pulled from a KIA Credos with less than 100k on the clock. It so hard to find a genuine Mazda FE3 so i jumped on this instead. It is the same as the Mazda FE3N it came from a FWD car it has 9.2:1 compression, perfect for a turbo, its just made by KIA so the castings are average but will not affect performance...I was planning on running a GT3071 and make 300hp with this motor in stock form. It has a 8 bolt crank so you will need to buy a KIA Sportage flywheel, It comes with altenator, starter motor, air con compressor, power steering pump. I was just about to drop it into my TX3 but need funds for other areas of the project. It will not come with the turbo setup or the turbo injectors, I will put back in the stock injectors and stock exhaust manifold. Asking $500 Any questions call or txt me on 0439 892 905 - Steve Last edited by g0llyw0g; 09-07-2013 at 09:06 AM. |

It's a bit of an urban legend with forged cranks in the FE3, 95% of them are cast, it shouldn't be an issue anyway....how many engines fail because of cast cranks?? My BPT has a cast crank and its pushing past 400hp without an issue....

99% of them are cast. If you have never owned or played with FE3's yourself its safe to assume everything you know about them is probably wrong. There is way too much bull**** on the internet.
