323 BA V6 Astina (97') Idle Issue
Hi all,
Long time no post So... Last month mt astina developed an interesting issue. When the car is warmed up (about 2 mins after running) the idle seems to waiver, to be precise, when coming to a stop and putting the car in neutral idle drops to 4-500rpm, wavers up and down for 2 seconds and then settles back to 800rpm (normal). I'm thinking MAF sensor screwed? Could be throttle position sensor but i don't think so. Any and all opinions welcome. Very annoying issue, cars actually managed to stall a couple of times while doing it. Usually when power steering pump activates in conjunction with the idle drop issue. thanks for your time boys and girls.

yep,
had that happen about a year ago, replaced the pipe, mazda charged $170 for it. Didn't want to buy a second hand 13 year old plastic pipe so paid retail Any other ideas?
