How's the handling with 17" wheels?

I want to get some new wheels for my Astina (BA) and I'm tossing up between 16"s and 17"s. The 17's would look better, but I want the car to handle well and not be rough.

So generally, how would it handle with 17" wheels compared to 16" wheels (using good tyres and upgrading the suspension to suit in both cases)?

handling difference wouldnt be noticeable, but the ride comfort on the 17's will be worse and 17's also emphasise the wheel arch gap....all imo

Yeh.. your ride will be noticably firmer as you will have less sidewall and more PSI in your tyres..

The gap will appear more noticable but the overall rolling diameter of the wheels and tyres won't change much at all.... No probs.. couple hundred bucks and you can lower it too..
