Hey mate, i just got my first car, white lxi 2002 Laser Sedan, and am looking to make a few mods. Certainly nothing like what you have done, which i think looks amazing by the way. Not too plain but definitely not overdone. Some thing i am thinking of doing are new wheels, colour coded door handles and trim, as well as new speakers all round.

I just wanted too know the best place for laser parts, because i cant find any on the net. And also whether you know if the stock head unit has outputs for rear doors, as there is a bracket, but no speaker (lxi...sigh).

lasermods are the only real good company for laser parts. ive used them a few times with no issues or anything. the only other thing i do i search through ebay regularly and check the rupewrecht section on this forum.
most parts for a BJ mazda astina 323 can fit on the laser. only difference is the head/tail lights.

pretty off. the other headlights come out further, about an inch. so it had to be filled in and then grinded back to flow with my lights. the width etc was fine. and the grille was too big so it had to be cut inwards and matched to my lights.

its not designed to have a grille in it i think. all the pics iv seen of it are grille-less.
so ill prob tidy it up with some mesh an perhaps a badge... still undecided yet.
but i thought it would look wierd without a grille, but its grown on me now.

ive also badged the tailgate, got the rear electric windows working an im starting to get more prep dont before paint...

man if ur set on a mesh, get your old grill and bend the mesh around it (as in the stock one) so it has the same shape, then slot i in its place it would be very unique then

btw it looks awesome

None of my grilles fit in the bumper as its a mazda one. The only sort i think may fit is maybe a bj1 grille... But i dont even have one anymore. Anything else i could put in there? Im also thinking of putting the laser badge from the tailgate in the grille on the right side, may look cool... There is just too many things i wanna try out...

Starting to look good, i like the bodykit choice, suits it nicely. i think it would be cool to see a billet grill done like the minitruckers are using.

There used to be an sp20 locally that had an imported billet grill kit imported from the USA, looked very schmick, also gives it abit of a sexspec look too if thats what your going for.

yeah they look sick, it would make it abit different to every other car with mesh. i'v seen a few showcars with it and it looks, ill try and find a pic so u can see an example of what i mean.

Marc, i think the carbon grill might be abit jdm for the style he's going for although the painted one looks nice

I only mentioned the carbon grille due to Luke having various carbon copy bits in the interior, thought it'd be good to continue the trend
