1993 rx-7 fd3s

Hi everyone, I got my FD3S RX-7 in 2006, bone stock with no modification. Throughout the years, I have done most of the reliable/safe mod for it.

Bone Stock FD, with approx 87,000km on engine

Bone stock engine

Then the first year I added the Racing Beat Catback exhaust, HKS Downpipe, Samco Radiator Hoses... Then the engine needs a rebuild when the clock hits around 100,000km, so I went to a reputable rotary shop to rebuild my FD

Brand new Apex Seal

It is heavy:

After the engine rebuild, add several more parts:
OEM R1 front Strut Bar, RE-Amemiya Intercooler Pipes, RE-Amemiya Air Separator Tank, RE-Amemiya Radiator Cap, RE-Amemiya Engine Oil Cap

Then installed RE-Amemiya Turbo Boost Gauge, and Glowshift gauges for oil temp, water temp, oil pressure

RE-Amemiya Turbo Boost Gauge

Odometer is reading 105,682km (5,682km after engine rebuild)

Installed FEED Side Skirt (Fujita Engineering) and OEM mud guards

Bought Koyo Radiator N-Flo, to replace the stock plastic end tank radiator

Installed Koyo Radiator:

Then finally found a decent RE-Amemiya stock mount intercooler (discontinued part)

Ditch away the insufficient stock intercooler

Then got some used TEIN coilover Type HA (16 ways adjustable) from Japan

Then got a brand new Mazdaspeed leather shift knob

1999 Arm Rest/coin box

Then got brand new 1999 OEM front lip

Repaint to PZ black and installed 99 lip

1999 OEM Ẽfini Y-pipe (brand new)

GReddy Twin Oil Coolers:

1999 JDM OEM Spirit R RX-7 wheels (by BBS)

HKS Twin Power Ignition System (Brand New)

Aluminum Intake Pipes

OEM Spirit R badges (Brand new)

The winter car has a sunroof! I like both cars. Nothing is done over the top. Sutble mods make it classy.

^ Thanks, other than the Mazdaspeed rims, I also have stock RX-8 rims for winter driving. The Mazdaspeed rims are only for spring/summer..

Brand New NipponDenso Supra TT Fuel Pump, direct upgrade over the stock Denso FD3S fuel pump. The stock fuel pump been using for 19 yrs, time to replace it. This will enhance reliability, provide highest flowing unit, and doesn't make the car run rich at idle.

The pump has been tested to support 450 RWHP (at 36-40 PSI base pressure) and is a good upgrade for those with upgraded ECUs and/or those adding additional injectors.

Yeah, I agree with you that the Autoexe CF ram air intake box is very nice, also the Knightsports intake box too. But I am trying to get RE-Amemiya parts for my FD.

Secondly, if I go single turbo or V-mount set up in future, the Autoexe CF intake box can't be used due to space. So I have to ditch those options.
