What is the best for my situation?
Hey all,
I am looking at upgrading my suspension and steering components. I have Monroe GT gas shocks on there at the moment, i am really happy with them but i would like a better setup. I would like it to be tort and firm, good response, not sloppy. I don't know what needs to be done, i am thinking the steering damper, Castor kit, springs.. that sort of thing. Can someone please advise me as to what is the best setup. Cheers Dan |

My opinion:
KYB Struts with Dobinson Springs... I don't sell either of those, so its a completely unbiased opinion... and I know I'll get shot for saying the later, but in my opinion they are better than Kings/Pedders/Whiteline... Then maybe upgrade your REAR sway bar, once again, not something i deal with yet, but the generally accepted norm is whiteline... I do however stock Noltec, so if you get serious, and want adjustable strut tops/urethane bushes/camber bolts or even complete coilover struts let me know. The later I'm reluctant to sell mainly cause Ryan (deejayryry) does these, and are an excellent product, and appropiately priced... Obivously coilovers are only if you're VERY serious, and have money to spend... Otherwise some better struts and springs, a better rear sway bar, and some urethane bushes and either camber bolts or adj strut tops (the later if you plan to do ANY motorsport, as camber bolts aren't 100% reliable) will keep big grins on most people's faces!

Thanks for the advice.
I dont have all that much to spend, the springs look good tho. I might get a brace for it aswell. Not to sure yet but it is good to know. Cheers Dan |
