it will go to a stupid woman who made an insurance claim against me for $1050

I rolled literally 1 foot down a slope from stationary ( in a van ).

With a light scuff on the back she has replaced the whole rear bumper, had her tow ball "checked, realigned and refitted" and replaced the rear boot garnish or her 2000 Commodore.

And I was HELPING HER at the time it happened !

its lucky here the money that goes towards the appeal actually ends up in the right hands. in yugoslavia during the war the red cross collected alot of money from over seas to help ppl without any food or drinking water, which was my familys case cus we were smack on the front line (sarajevo) but the head of the yugoslavian redcross was the then president of serbia, and now a convicted war criminal, he kept the money to himself, most of it anyway.. so many ppl died from starvation and lack of basic supplies and medicine..

An update. It was voted down in the senate but will be reintroduced in the lower house with some amendments.

This is direct from the News.com.au website:

Quote:
THE independent senator who sunk the government's $42 billion stimulus package in the upper house hopes a new deal can be struck within 24 hours.
But Nick Xenophon is prepared for the Senate to sit over the weekend if that's what it takes to reach an agreement.

The South Australian senator said he wanted to reach a sensible and pragmatic compromise with the Rudd Government.

"I'm here in Parliament House tonight, I'm looking forward to their call," he said on ABC Television.

"I hope we can thrash this out in the next 24 hours."

But if that doesn't happen he's prepared to spend the weekend, and possibly next week, in Canberra.

"I voted just a few hours ago for the Senate to come back tomorrow and I'll keep voting for the Senate to come back," Senator Xenophon said.

"Whether it's Saturday, Sunday, next week, so we can try and thrash this out.

"It's just a matter of sitting in a room for however long it takes to thrash this out."

The stimulus plan was rejected in the Senate this afternoon after Senator Xenophon voted with the Coalition.

Senator Xenophon voted against the plan because the Government was unwilling to bring forward billions of dollars set aside for water buy-backs in the drought-stricken Murray-Darling Basin.

An amended stimulus package is likely to be introduced into the House of Representatives on tonight, while the Senate will reconvene tomorrow
Lets hope this does get passed soon, I can already see a lot of people that I know that are going to give there money to the Red Cross in relation to the Victorian bushfire disaster..

Marc

Many insurance companies have setup temporary offices in the evacuation zones to process claims. What do you expect them to do, pull houses out of their asses?
