Are BG, BA blocks, crankshafts, conrods and pistons same as MX5 NB8A

I just bought an NB8A 1999 MX5 with a blown engine with a view to a full rebuild, however, the crankshaft is damaged beyond repair.

I believe that BG and BA 323/Astinas and the Ford derivatives use thesame block but it is not clear to me if the crank (is forged) and if theconrods and pistons are the same.

I have been looking in the Astina GT Forums for information on the above and it appears that this is so, but before I buy an engine bottom end to use I would like to enlist your expertise to guide my with this query or if perhaps there is a source of information that I can reference, thanks in advance Gerry.
