No, it doesn't make any false or misleading claims against the Mazda 6, it just offers an altenative. Citroen C5 is also after the same market and popped up there yesterday.

Just google ads. Google sees this page has the words car and Mazda on it and that ad just happens to get drawn up. Not malicious in anyway just random.

However there was an issue several months ago with a Christian youth group online forum where someone wrote "kkk" instead of "ok" and an ad for the Klan came up. Much outrage and hoopla.

It's not slander, defamation or libel, but there is an intellectual property / information technology law issue there nonetheless. The issue is whether google should be allowed to sell its Adwords keywords of trademarks to competitors of the owner of the trademark, or whether doing so constitutes trademark infringement: see this article for example.

Under Australian law I believe it's currently not a civil offence for them to do so, but in response to lawsuit and industry concerns in the EU they've initiated a complaint-based system to deal with misleading trademark uses.
