Latest FANTASTICO news I must share with all FRIENDS!!

Yesterday, Aaron and I signed up for an Apartment in a new development!

I am so excited about it all. Although the place won't be finished until December 2005, it is all good as far as I'm concerned!!

Specs if anyone is interested are:
  • 2 Bedroom plus worlds smallest Study
    ensuite
    2 balcony's
    20 mins walk from Civic
    Very FLASH fixtures and fittings
    EXPENSIVE, but C'est la vie

These pictures are taken from the display unit on my mobile phone, so they aren't the best quality.. and I have had a go and doing some changes to the floorplan that we are doing, but it isn't the best, LOL

I am so excited, I can't believe we did it but then again I am very glad we did!

I hope you all don't mind me sharing my news with ya's

I feel a little embarassed congratulating you seeing i (we) have yet to meet you, however Simone and I are progressing up the same avenue (still saving ATM) and i totally understand the frustration and commitment (especially when you car keeps saying 'make me go faster and look better') it takes to achieve this goal. Good on ya's!

Saving? what's that? LOL

$1000 deposit and 5% due in 12 months will FORCE us to save....

as for the mods, there are many economical mods that can be made... I was there with my BA Hatch.....

ahhhh, the Astina, the beloved Astina...... I miss that mp3 player!!!

We will meet in a couple of short weeks I am sure, but I have already spotted your V6 here in Canberra

Catch me if you can, LOL!

Excellent news!!!

And you're right across the road from where Cath and I are waiting for our off the plan unit to be built too!

Ours has an *expected* completion date of December 2005 as well so we should be moving in at the same time! *cough* *cough*

For the record, Unit 1 Valonia only has 1 car space so you wouldn't have wanted that one anyway.

Excellent news!

Yes super super small

we will be making custom desks in there!
Thank goodness Aaron's Dad is an excellent woodworker.
There will be a built in wine rack on the corner of the kitchen too etc

The floorplan isn't to scale.
And if we are all moving at the same time Andy, then you can have first option at stuff I am culling
Already have a microwave, LOL

But have to tell everyone that the double carspace for us is looking dodgy....
If we don't get 2 carspaces to ourselves, we won't be going ahead with the deal...

/me worried now!!

You would expect that a two bedroom place would have two car spaces.

One bedroom, probably not. One beddy with study, it could go either way. But two beddy I would expect to have two car space.

*grumble fricken grumble*

Hows this for dodgy!

One car space and we get to do the $1000 up front and 5% in 12 months

two car spaces and we have to pay an extra $10000 (that's right, ten thousand) and they want the 5% or bank guarantee up front!

Feels like bloody blackmail to me!

I am so ****TY!!! :x

Looks like they will be sticking their unit here: ..|..

We have given them one last chance, but meh!

You could always just paint a pretty unit number on top of one of the visitor car parks and make it your own??

Our unit complex has a ****-ton of visitor carparks but they have to be shared around 200 units so I'm not sure how far they'll stretch.
