i will be getting a new alarm/imobiliser very soon, my one has outlived its purpose as one remote is totaly farked and the other one is on its way out. i found some nice ones on ebay, but they are noname, but they have GPS tracking as well as sms capabilities, so i am quite tempted. only a single point imobiliser but (i think, could be dual)
keep u posted but |

just a quick update, recently i got a new alarm/imobiliser installed. its a steel mate, got it from bourbon its amazing and the batery life on the remotes is unfreakingbelivable +they are rechargable a heap of sensors and multipoint imobilisation and antihijack as a good feature + it has a 5km range (more like 2 with obstructions lol) but its good enough to allmost allways let me know if anyone touches the car as the remotes are 2 way
all in all i am very happy and wont be doing anything major to it for a while, no matter how much i would like, my wifey wont let me spend any more money on it haha |

I like, it's a little like tribal war paint, goes perfectly with the wheels too!

Woudent be to hard to do. just needs to be fiberglassed in and then repainted agian. If ur actully thinking of painting them black try and get matt black. Would look better i think

yeah i have some matt black left over from when i did the centre caps on the wheels
along with filling the indicators i want to get rid of the antena, windscreen squirters (relocated to the wipers) and few other annoying things. im in limbo about it all dont know wether to keep spending money on it or to get another one.. cus if i keep it i want it faster so thats turbo (cus of the easier option for economy as well thru a EBC at lets say 5psi, or power at 16psi) and thats more money. i am gonna weigh up pros and cons over the summer and see properly what the future will hold.. |

ok so i have definately decided to keep this car for a while yet. turbo conversion will follow within a year (sooner if funds allow) and sooner than that i will upgrade my taillight and headlight design
since my parkers are starting to fail, SLOWLY i have decided to change everything since i have to pull the headlights apart anyway.... i will change it DRASTICALLY, i have the plans all drawn up, it will cost me very little and will look very nice (IMO ) it will also be maintainable, ie all the bulbs (inc parkers/indicators) will be able to be changed whenever as right now they cant be... stay tuned folks |

hehe,
should be good, might have to start on my idea for my headlights, as i cbf (as well as scared of breaking something) taking apart the headlights to do the LED conversions, i was thinking about fibre glass over the lights so the bonnet and bumper are flush, with a tube/hole for the projector. like this, sorry to hijack post but opinions?
