Lol dude... Red is definitely the easiest colour to keep clean.
Regular polish and they are sweet!

Anyway... DO IT!!
Lol
Ou can get some nice power out of them with minor mods, interior is nice, Handle nice, drive nice daily, got good brakes.
Just invest in an Mfactory LSD if it hasn't already got one fitted.
Price is awesome on the MPS' now too

That's why I said regular polish. Like every 3 months.
Resprayed dad old (and now uncles) 300zx z31 in moza red back in 03'
Still shiny and clean. Brothers old ta22 was monza red, my old BG was Red Hot,
And brothers Z32 is Aztec Red.

.....
It's easy

Ok I will give you that... If its not looked after properly before you... It just goes down hill.
But on topic, MPS' are generally garaged and looked after fairly well, as they were expensive new.
If it hasn't been analy maintained paint wise... They are still fairly new, so should be fine.
Also paint technology increased a fair bit... Especially in the red section.
Much less likely to fade

red is like that other colour that is also painful to look after and keep clean and shows up damage like a mofo..... ummmmm what is it again.. oh yeah BLACK !!!!!

my first car was a red suzuki SWIFT *get it yet peoples ;-)* yes there a little hard to maintain but alot less then a black car.. like its been said just have to watch for fade

playing around with ideas atm nothing concrete but if it was up for sale will only be looking at about $6-$7K with EVERYTHING on it.. as is !!!

done abit of researching on the MPS and mods alot easier to get power out of them without going nuts.. I.E. Tune.. dump pipe.. exhaust.. but most of them ive been looking at have this done already

Brothers mate got one, literally got the most immaculate one out! Had like 25000k's lol
Body perfect... Then dropped a kayak on it

He did dump Intercooler piping and a reflash...
Made a lazy 195kw at the fronts. Lol
Was honestly useless without the LSD (put an LSD in shortly after tune)

Go for it man! Time to upgrade.... Just make sure you keep comming tithe cruises
You would definitely be happy with them... Go test drive one at a dealer or something

How many Km's does your SP20 have?? I have a friend who is interested in one, but has the budget of maxxxxx 6 haha. You'll probably fall in love when you get it back again.

As for red, my commodore was red. Once its clean your fine. Just dont keep it in the sun.

As for the MPS convo. I was looking into these just for ****s and giggles. Only reason i wouldnt get one is because its fwd. My power has to be AWD or RWD you can get a evo for around the same price....
