Difinately get a strut brace! you are meant to have one to reduce chassis twist... less power loss through the wheels[/colorost_uid0]

Anthony,
Remember this is the previous Astina. Whiteline don't make one for our model and wont because the bottom wishbone section is flat so you don't need one. They make one for KF/KH lasers and think thats the bush that is used in the earlier Astina's. Regards Mal[/colorost_uid0]

Tony,
You need to add some adjustable shocks like konis to increase the rebound rate so that they push back harder just like the "edge of cliff" function on the kiwi inflatable sheeps !! This will push the weight back towards the front. Lowering the front or "more possible" raising the rear will change the centre of gravity to add a bit more. Changing the front any more than horizontal will cause the car to nose-dive under brakes. Regards Mal[/colorost_uid1]

Why ask about the FPR. You running lean ?? or are you
raising the boost Best to ask Geoff as he did those mods very well. An variable one that reacts and adds more when on boost would be best. regards Mal[/colorost_uid1]

just out of curiosity, where can you get the rear anti roll bar or whatever it's called(i can't remember right now, but it goes in the boot and stops the car from flexing)? i can't say that they are commonly available...[/colorost_uid0]

Hey eric ,
Yeah i got the car engineered last week, had the car of the road with the defects for about almost 2 months. With the paint the weekend that i got done for the defects was the weekend that i was aspose to get the car prepared but the guy had to go to a wedding or something. We are preparing the car for painting this weekend coming up and the following weekend it will be getting painted. Not selling it anymore , my dad wants to keep it , and spent to much time and money on it to just sell it now[/colorost_uid0] |
