That's still 3k for both sets!!! Guess I can't talk about money spent on cars lately! They should look sweet, if they fit!

ok injen intake fitted finally had to put the coolent bottle to a different spot compared to the protege but besides that everything else bolted straght up
only thing that i was disapointed about was the injen sticker i rubbed it once with my finger to remove a bubble and it went black it lost it colour gonna order another stick when i get time

another thing you dont have to remove your front bumper to do it just undo the black plastic under the car and you can fit the pod easy

Looks awesome, might have to change mine a little so it runs in a similar fashion, it looks like it will be a little more out the heat from the radiator.
Can you check the temp of the piping after driving round for an hour on a hot day, I would like to know how much cooler it runs that way.
My intake pipe gets to over 60 degrees by the time I get to work in the morning.

I went down for a thrash through wisemans ferry when I got home mine was about 48 would have been hotter when I was thrashing it but if yours is 60 just driving to work you need to do some work if you want a closer look at mine I can meet you somewhere and show how it runs

I spend an hour in the morning with the AC on so I guess the fans are pumping stinking hot air thought the engine bay cooking everything, I also assume that as yours is made out of aluminium and will absorb much less heat as mine is made from stainless steel, which from reading a few pages of information online looks like the worst material you could use to build an intake from, apart from it looking awesome.
However from more reading I found out that under full throttle the air would be in the intake for less than a second so the heat of intake wouldnt affect if by that much.
Its only when its not flowing air that it will heat up which explains why it feels a bit meh on take off then its fine, its getting rid of the hot air.
Im still making a new one though.

Mine was around 40 all day, the highest was 56 when the car was at a halt & sitting idle for 5mins.
