Diagnotic box Faulty?
Hey all- long time no posting from me
But here I am again with more trouble. I have been using the diagnostic box and getting fault codes- told me I had faulty O2 sensor on the headers. Swapped with some other second hand ones and go to test it again and I get zilch. no lights flashing no nothing! been broken for a while now and its not going 2 fix itself. Also my interior lights don't work at all unless its set to door with the door open. I think the 2 could be related because they both went kaput at either at the same time or atleast in the same day. 7ONYD do I remember correctly u stating that you diagnotic box wasn't working either?? I could b wrong Oh yeah- so u all know I have a klze 94 ba lantis any pearls of wisdom much appreciated. cheers |

With the interior lights, it could be that your body computer (located in the drivers footwell behind the fusebox) could have blown circuits. Years ago my dimmer circuit blew, giving the same symptoms as what you've got for the lights.

There was a quick spark- I called myself a dumbass and that was it. Checked all the fuses and they seemed fine- so where about would I have damaged it?? |

LED doesnt come on at all.
Runs ok- a bit rough but I've always had trouble getting this car to run stable, which was why I was muckin around with the diagnotic box in the first place. So i think i might try swap the ecu- I have a spare one i think in my breakers car, well I hope I do anyway, don't really wanna buy another cheers asanga |

Righto- ecu replaced- went for a small drive and checked those fault codes codes again- and I'm in the clear- for now. Maybe I have 2 drive around a bit more before they register but in any case I'm just happy its working again.
cheers guys |
