Mazda 323 engine bay question
What is this?
I have a Laser SR2 but its the same as 323 Sp20 - I have no idea what it is |

Thanks Phunkdust, is it meant to be not connected? does it just measure the pressure in the engine bay?
I couldn't find any info on them thanks for your help Patrick |

it's not supposed to be connected
it measures ambient barometric pressure so that the ECU can provide better fueling to the engine

It should be connected electrically but it should not have vac hose on it.

Yeah it's got a cable attached but then there's a short rubber hose coming out that shouldn't be connected to anything. Not sure what would happen if someone accidentally connected it to vac.
