part numbers might settle this the easiest. but to me they look identical. i know that a mx5 has a bigger throttle body available to get, my friend races mx5s n he got one i remember, before he blew a rod out the side of the engine LOL. after that he just used engines from wreckers and didnt do anything to them, just a haltach that was in the car already. besdies the point but fks me who makes them.
mayb zappy could have a look in his books at work tomorow to c if they are the same? (he works at mazda right??) |

series 2 NB mx5 throttle body codes my car has BP2Y on it, and my spare one from a kj ford laser has B6BF on it? looks like the inlet/buttefly and tps are all the same, just the water bypasses and cable linkages and 2 return springs are different... ryan |
