Hi!

Hi! My name is Ignacio, I'm from Argentina, and I've recently acquired a '92 323 (BG). It has the carbureted 1.6 16v SOHC engine.

I've bought it from and old man who really took care of it, and it's in really good shape. Just some minor scratches and bumps.

This won't be my daily driver and I'm planning to (slowly, as I don't have much money) build it as a street car, but to be able to have fun at the track with it.

This is it

(BTW, how do I upload larger images?)

Always happy to see another BG wedge owner. Are you planning on 1.8, or 1.8 turbo engine swap?

Here in Argentina there aren't BPs nor B8 so I'll stick with the B6 for now, and try to tune this engine the best I can. I'll try to change the carburetor, cams, improve the head, and some more compression.

Right now I'm concerned about some basic stuff about the car, like replacing the dampers and tires as they are old and not perfectly round. I need to change the timing belt, water pump and tensioner too. As I don't have much mechanical expierience I will do it quite slow and taking my time.
