Smile Mazda Astina SP 1993 clicking noise

When i turn the steering wheel on full lock, I get a clicking noise from underneath the car. My friend says it could be a cracked alloy rim, but I was just wondering If anyone had this problem before and if you could help out in any way.

most probably a stuffed CV shaft. get someone to stand outside the car and try to determine the side which it is coming from

Sounds very CVish. If it is then you're best doing both sides at once as they have equal wear. BTW it's common on FWD cars.

i would actually its not usually best doing both sides, as normally it isn't necessarily due to the amount of Km's on the cv (well kinda not really)
but usually because one of the rubber boots has broken, causing all of the grease inside to flick or fly out of the joint its self, causing premature wear on the joint.
you can usually tell if this is the case if you take off both front wheels, and inspect the insides for grease (if you cant be bothered to jack the car up).
you should then be able to determine the side which it is coming from.
i would still recommend just jacking the car up tho.
