Scott (no fuknidea),
Yes, it's been asked many times, and with propper spelling, and answered many times as well. Why would you expect people who have taken the time and effort to answer this in the past to re-post? And you have the balls to expect every thing NOW. Get a clue.

i have written the entire front bumper removal procedure up twice. search for it, its one here.
its not even hard, just take the lights off, theres 4 bolts, 2 more in the guards and the splash guards at the bottom as for relay, you need a 4 pin relay with the same pin layout as the mazda one, foglight kits normally have the right one. if you don't have a 4 pin one, or its wrong expect to blow fuses the moment you turn your lights on

If you have genuine fog lights no relay is needed.....at least not on UK ones? all i got was the brackets....fogs, and switch....wired in fine and havent blown with having them in almost a year

my spotlights uses the mazda fog light system, with custom plugs so the spotlights plug in. oh, in case anyones wondering, the standard system can run 100W bulbs with normal fuses.

stock foglights can be on when the parkers are on, you don't need the headlights themselves on

ok one last question for the fog lights
ok so the rain finally stopped and gave me a chance to get my bumperoff and the foglights in. during the week i got the relay from mazda but delayed getting the button from them due to the fact they wanted $143 for it, but im now coming to the conclusion that i may just hav to, but for the meantime i was wondering if anyone on here new which of the four terminals on the plug (*) are for switching and which are for lighting the plug up when the instrument lights come one??
*= given that i have found the correct plug, i think its the one on the right of the steering wheel closest to the steering column, is that correct??? any help would be great thank you |

Nah, no fog switches left. I found one on ebay in the US, but the guy wanted USD$45 just for shipping!

you'd be able to use a normal toggle switch and just wire it up wouldn't you?

from memory the 2 pins on the side of the plug where the push down bit is (the bit you push in so you can get it apart) are the ones that control the actual switch. the other 2 light the switch up when you turn the parkers on. mate if you want a switch head on down to a mazda wrecker and tell them you want the foglight switch off a mx-6/323 (and maybe 626). mine came from a mx-6, same as 323 and the bloke originally tried to get one out of a 626 but it was broken, can't remember if it would fit though. it was worth $35 from memory. if in doubt, head down to a mazda dealership, ask for the part number for it. they should give it to you. then go to the wrecker with that.
