i did mine a few months ago in tuggeranong, the biggest thing to remember is to stay chill and lucid, i had a habit of locking up and freaking out that led to me taking the test 3 times.
knowing your way around the area you are tested in is helpful but not vital. as for them judging you by your car, it shouldent make a difference unless its some sour old bastard tester. i took the first of my tests in a 1959 hillman minx and it made little difference, it just started the tester on a "back in they day i used to drive" speech. |

yeah we were talking about shaoilin, turned out he did it as a kid and still practised it at home and had a wooden training dummy he made him self he was very proud of. at the time i was doing it as well so we talked smack bout techniques and he was explaining how to make the dummy cus i wanted one for coditioning, it has to have arms that are retractable and the foot has to be able to swing to replicate what a partner in training would do for shin and forearm conditioning as well as finger strenghtening ...
by dummy i mean this |

good luck bro!!! to calm the nerves i say get some of the alchohole drops...its called rescue remedy...

good luck man When i went for my red P's i had some indian guy in marrickville. He was pretty cool though, we just chatted the whole drive, it was a lot shorted then i expected. He was even making jokes about women drivers when a lady in a 4WD came down the wrong way in a 1 way street lol
anyways. you'll be fine, just take it easy.

yeh ive heard richmond is a good place to do, ive had a fair few friends fail other places and pass out there. like everyones said, be friendly with them, i was lucky enough the guy had done an electronics apprenticeship when he left school many years ago and at the time i had just started mine, so we just talked whole time. but just think, its just another drive with ur parents or whom ever u usually drive with.

richmond is a good choice if your learning manual. This is because richmond is flat with barely any hills. It is also alot more quiet then other areas where you could go for your P's.
