I picked up my simota intake and yes while it will fit (i have to get one more silicon joiner and clamps to hook it to the AFM), it has a second breather pipe coming off it, is this for a BG?
I noticed that the standard intake tube (between the throttle body and the Air flow meter) for the BA seems to have a sealed plug in about the same spot. I plan on capping it off, any ideas why its there? I'd take pics, but the SLR is at work and the portable is being borrowed by a friend. I'll get a pic up once i get to work tomorrow. |

series 3 does not have this pipe as the IAC is built into the throttle body. |

compulsory third party with rego covers persons, where as comprehensive only covers the cars...

shat! Didn't realise this On this note. When I fitted the sound to the MX6 (mum's) I left the wires off to the electric aerial as whilst the elec' motor works well. The aerial itself stays up. Obviously it's broken the gear or whatever but I couldn't be bothered to try & fix it. Radio stations down my way are crap. CD heaven for now

Nah mine was aftermarket. Still haven't fitted it yet though, as i don't listen to the radio much, and even without the aerial the reception isn't affected much!
