Mini Cruise - Thursday 1st February 2007

hey hey everyone!

i'm proposing below for a mini cruise whilst Red Frog and Skitz are up in qld!

Date: Thursday 1st February 2007
Time: 7.00pm
Meeting Point: Hogs Breath
5 Petrie Terrace Paddington
Parking is limited ... so if you don't mind the walk it's been suggested to park on Dowe Street opposite Suncorp Stadium and then walk up...

Booking name will be under Miss Beckie.
After dinner ... next point would be towards nebo for a few twisties...

If you're interested please add your name to the list

I will need to let HB know numbers so the sooner the better

i'm sozza i'm not gonna be around the for the weekend cruise, but we all gotta get back to work at some point

look, if not many ppl can make it, we can change the plans and you're all welcome to come up to our sweeet ass resort thingy at noosa and swim and eat and drink and stay the night

i WILL, however, be in brisbane staying in indooroopilly on fri 26th, sat 27th, sun 28th, and mon 29th, then heading up to noosa until friday. if my brother isn't working, i might come up on the thurs 25th, however will need a place to crash for the night, so if anyone is offering, that'd be tops.

beckie, maybe we could change the cruise to the sunday instead, as a last resort though? then more ppl might be willingly to come? i know kyle wouldn't be able to (i think), but him and i will be able to catch up at some other point i'm sure.
though this is all last resort stuff. the dinner and cruise sound fine for the time being

thanks for organising this!! you rock!! i know how hard it is to organise cruises and get ppl involved! there's a lot of ppl who need to put in the effort to get out there and get off their butts and attend these cruises. life is short; come on an agt cruise and you'll meet a whole new bunch of friends

don't go "well maybe i might if i'm free......", just put it in your diaries/calendars and make the effort to attend!!

hey guys.....
guess wot? i have good and bad news, the good news is....that i have been offered a fantastic opportunity to teach for the whole term!

i'm quite excited, but still a bit anxious that it all works out okay. bad news is, it starts thurs 1st feb. i rang beckie to tell her yesterday, and promised i'd post on here to say that the thurs cruise is cancelled.

instead, we'd all love it if everyone could turn up to the australia day fireworks at brisbane river, and we'll go for a cruise afterwards. i'm thinking this is the best case scenario for the time being, as i have to fly home either tues/wed, which also means i won't be taking my lastina up too. i'm a bit bummed, but at the same time i really need work for term 1 and the opportunity was one i could not pass up.
