Reread a few times and i think i worked it out. No you don't need a ECU, it would be beneficial however to plug the hole you'll have in the lower rpm band though. Youd also benefit from cam gears to bring the cams back into range. EDIT: While what twiggy says is true id still measure just in case

oh yeah, still measure to be sure, maybe the stocks are out of spec in the first place...
i had these cams in my car prior to microtech and it was fine. aftermarket engine management just allows you to get the most out of the cams, as the stock ecu will run the car a little lean at low rpm and low throttle (not really a problem) and too rich at high rpm (robbing you of power) |

Wow thought you had long since sold this, good luck with the bits. I can't explain why but we still miss our SE20 and it's been gone for nearly 4 yrs. Something about it being the end of a Mazda era that probably won't be seen again.

just updating a few things that are available right now:
Ok, so here is a list of the parts for sale that require a swap with your original parts: --Erebuni copy rear wing (black, so yours must be black too) - $180 --TWM short shifter with custom kangaroo leather shift boot (suits the lower height of the short shifter perfectly) - $90 Here is a list of parts for sale outright, ie no swap required/wanted: --Volk TE37 (genuine!) 15x7.5 pair of wheels (Volk TE37 bronze colour and 5x114.3 stud pattern +43 offset) with BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial 205/50/15 (apx 50% tread) - $550 (wheels alone are close to being worth this) --AutoXracing rear sway bar anti-clunk kit with only 1 bushing and collar clamp (no bolts) - $100 (Brand new, never used. nb, only works with original or original shaped sway bars, will not with whiteline sway bar, but *does* work with the racing beat bar. I'm sure another bushing and collar clamp would be easy to find at somewhere like supercrap) --Piston and Rod combo (Eagle H-rods from a Toyota 3sgte (customised to suit the FSDE crank), 11:1 Wiseco 83.5mm pistons – a 1.5:1 rod ratio, highest you’ll find!) - $750 (Brand new in box, never used) --5th gear set - $130 (Brand new in box, never used) --SLS Performance engine side engine mount - $50 pm me or email me : twilightprotege @ iinet . net . au just be sure to post here what you've pm'd me or emailed me about |

no sorry, i have no stock boot and thus need to replace it. the boot fits the shifter height perfectly so there isnt that (what i think is ugly) droop in the shifter boot material. and it's nice kangaroo leather too.

Ok, so here is a (small at the moment) list of the parts for sale that require a swap with your original parts: Erebuni copy rear wing (black, so yours must be black too) - $180 TWM short shifter with custom kangaroo leather shift boot (suits the lower height of the short shifter perfectly) - $90 Steering column gauge pod mount - swap, no $$ Here is a list of parts for sale outright, ie no swap required/wanted: Microtech LT8s with dash unit, cable and dongle - $400 (now available!!) Volk TE37 (genuine btw) 15x7.5 pair of wheels (Volk TE37 bronze colour and 5x114.3 stud pattern +43 offset) with BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial 205/50/15 (apx 50% tread) - $550 AutoXracing rear sway bar anti-clunk kit (almost complete, comes with only 1 bushing and collar clamp and no bolts) - $110 (Brand new, never used) (nb, only works with original or original shaped sway bars, will not with whiteline sway bar, but *does* work with the racing beat bar) Piston and Rod combo (Eagle H-rods from a Toyota 3sgte (customised to suit the FSDE crank), 11:1 Wiseco 83.5mm pistons – a 1.5:1 rod ratio, highest you’ll find!) - $750 (Brand new in box, never used) 5th gear set - $130 (Brand new in box, never used) SLS Performance engine side engine mount - $50 All of the above parts are available right now, the below parts will be available in the near future once the car is off the road.
