I had my rain sensing wipers take off the paint down to shiny bare metail at the very edge of the bonnet facing right towards me, it drove me nuts in sunlight as it blinded me. Thats was a very tiny tiny area, you wouldn't be able to see a thing in those cars...nor would anyone else.

When i was painting the Beetle, i stripped the bonnet back to bare metal and then had to drive it for an hour or so...in summer during the day. Was not fun!

Those would be night time cars only, but even then it would be highly distracting to have light from everywhere being reflected into the cabin :s
