Bloody content filtering so and so's

Sorry all,
About two days ago, the place where I work now (Gov't department)cottoned on to the fact that I was checking the AstinaGT forums about once a day just to see what was going on whilst at work.

And now they've put a ban on the forum topics so I can't look at anything while I'm at work. Honestly, how is a man supposed to get any work done when he can't give his mind a rest every hour or so??

Oh well, guess I might not be very vocal on the boards from now on - not that I was incredibly vocal anyway but always enjoyed reading some of the stuff even if I didn't throw in $0.02 every now and then. Might be a little quieter from now on.

Testify brother,
My last job gave me no internet access. New job I havn't found a limit, tell a lie the ****ed up lan speed is my limit :wink:

Maybe if I log into my customers WAN I can do better :?

Yeh, I was having a chat to our I.S. guy [infrastructure] about our filtering.. I can still get to here, but places like MSN Messenger and it's web based version [http://webmessenger.msn.com] are no go's, same with IRC. Certain sites actually can send warnings to head office and tell them exactly which PC and login name tried to access restricted areas of the web. Funnily enough, 2 websites are the AFL and NRL sites.

It really does suck though, especially if you're accessing AGT through your "break" periods. See you soon Andy.
