has anyone had any experience with "jammed" door locks?
the metal outside seems to be buggered on my drivers side door (what a pain).
the "gate" (the bit that your key pushes aside before entering the lock) won't budge... i've WD-40'd it to hell and with alot of manipulation got it open but it still jams every couple times. any ideas? should i just replace this bit?

well my passenger side doesnt have one at all and on mine i think it looks ugly... maybe its because i know it's there and i'm looking for it. perhaps a trip to the wreckers to take some... wonder how they install. perhaps a pressure clip like every other impossible to remove piece on this car :/ lol

Hatch or sedan, same suspension.

Nothing wrong with G4, but unless you are getting them cheap, I'd be looking at the BC coilvers.

the sway bars and strut bar are worth $500 by themselves. so getting the coilovers are a bonus. i'd go for it. although your car is a show car. i hardly see any need for any performance mods.

did you buy them?

don't expect much from the coilovers as they have been sitting off the car for 2 years. should be okay though.

was shipping to SA a killer?

just got a Question,
what should the TPS (throttle position sensor) voltage be on a BG 1.8 DOCH.
also, is timing the 1.8 DOCH the same as timing the 1.6????
here is a link of how to change the timing on the 1.6.
http://autorepair.about.com/library/a/1i/bl438i.htm
if it isn't the same, how do i change the timing.
cheers,
azza.

Random question: how much power does it take to have the A/C on and the fan on full? Was driving today in ridiculous heat and the drop was definitely noticeable, just curious exactly what sort of hp you're looking at.
