So, back on topic. Dude, leave her... I mean, after 2 months she's cheating? As has been said before, you're still in puppy love stage... You CAN try again, but my suggestion would be that there's many more fish in the sea.

It's hurts to be cheated on... But can you imagine the feeling if you find out in a year that she's done the same thing?

I say test her first.....If she truly thinks her drink was spiked; then get her to go to the Police and report it. Then see if she is prepared to press charges on the dumb ass that jumped her. If she wont do that then drop her cold.....Just my opinion though.

So, I chatted to her on Saturday, she didn't say much.
I dropped her home and then came back to mine and jumped on the net to find an email from her, telling me stuff she couldn't say to my face...
All in all, she has a second chance (everyone has told me I'm a fool) that is VERY conditional... She knows if she breaks one of the conditions it's over.

Good luck mate.
Hope it works out.

Just make sure you look after number 1 (being you) first and foremost... if you don't, no one else will.

Thanks, I plan to - And if it continues to play on my mind, I have also told her I will be honest with her and end it.

I know, a chick [my best friend] that knows me better than anyone else, told me to walk away... And that's saying something...
I almost did.
Ha, I wonder how I can use the 'boss' factor to my advantage :P

i sadly enjoyed reading this progression and opinions. but took rather great offense at rod's post, as a joke or not i cant say i was impressed...

I am a Christian - trying hard to avoid this scene altogheter - which is extremely difficult as an 18yo male...

but what i can say is i really hope it all works out for you BOTH, not just you, but that she can forgive herself and begin loving you unconditionally

personally im aiming for the option 1- as boring as that might sound to you all, id much rather a faithful and exciting sex life within a marraige and removes all the fear of being caught or whatever.

for a personal experience from me - it was the other way round with my now girlfriend!

about 3 weeks after getting my license i went up with my best mates and her to mt mee. started drizzling and found out the scary way that with 4 pple in my car with cheap tyres on it on a mountainous road with little experience and little grip...you slide..

decided that 30km/hr was too fast for a corner , trying to be safe etc, so put the brakes on and drpped into 2nd gear. somehow it locked up, did a 180 and slid 5-10m backwards on the wrong side of the road heading for the edge of the mountain with no barriers, just trees 10m down.

basically she lost her cousin/best friend in an accident 4 yrs ago and is very sensitive to idiots on the road...and look what ive done, almost killed myself and my friends.

you can probably imagine how that made me and her feel. amazingly she continued to like me and deal with what ive done. 45 days later i asked her if shed be my girfriend she said yes. and on the condition that if i am being an idiot on the road she will take my keys off me... its happened once - was a week before i got them back, and am thankful she has becuase it made me value everyone else on the road. - so if you ever see me around on the road, i will be the one annoying everyone else by doing the speed limit and not 1km/hr over.

guess ive learnt my lesson. we all slip up, and while it has nothing to do with sex, its something extremely important to her as sex and faithfulness is to you.

anyway everyone who reads this i hope you appreciate my opinion and how i see life and good luck to everyone and their relationships! and stay safe on the roads please!!!

BTW if your best mate (female) friend is telling you to can it, you might find you also have someone else wanting to be the next gf lurking there.....I had quite a few of them, that you know in the back of your head are always giving advice like that, cause they want in.

you've got a choice of trying to push through the "weirdness" and try and reconnect
or realise that there may not be any hope for fixing the trust

As you've said you're going to be openly honest with her
you're taking the moral high road and should be commended.

nice to see another 18yr old on hear with high moral values
personally im morman, so as well as the no sex before marriage, i also got the no drinking etc.. nice to know theres someone else on hear who "gets it"

unfortunetly i wont comment on this topice out of principle, as i have never dated, kissed, really liked a girl yet (NOT GAY - i am attracted, just learnt to control these thoughts) simply as
1.) too shy/nervous and wouldn't have a clue on how to handle having a girlfriend. let alone ask someone out
2.)no ones really stuck out as taking my fancy, i admire gods creation, but no one seems to really grab me yet

^ tc3_racer_001 I do kind of see what your post is getting at.
But having a car go on you due to weight, road conditions, bad tires and driver inexperience is NOTHING like having sex with someone while in a relationships...
There is a difference between someone being a little upset with you to someone virtually hating you.
People have car accidents, these things happen unfortunately - and you got very close to it... I understand your GF being upset, but in reality she has no real reason to be mad as it was that 'an accident'... You could't consciously stop it, r prevent it... you did all you could by doing 30km/h (even though i fail to see how you slid backwards that far at 30km/h ... i've lost it at 70 and after doing the 180 turn it only slid back half a car lenght before the front wheels regained traction and moved forward again in the direction i came from - but that's another matter)
