EOI [SA] 48cc motorized bicycles
hi all,
wondering how many people on here are interesting in purchasing a 48cc 2stroke powered mountain bike. does up to 60kmp/h, there is also a 66cc 2stroke model available, does up to 80kmp/h, both models are mounted onto a standard 26inch mountain bike. these are both street legal as long as normal bicycle rules are followed (wearing of helmet etc.) the 48cc model will be sold for around the $800 mark plus postage for interstate. the 66cc model will be sold for around the $1000 mark plus postage for interstate. as these engines are 2stroke they need to be run on a mix of fuel and oil, these ratios are outlined below: the ratio for engine is 16 parts petrol to 1 part high-grade 2 stroke motorcycle oil (65ml Penrite 2 stroke motor oil to 1 litre of 91 octane unleaded petrol). After the break-in period, the ratio is increased to 20 parts petrol to 1 part oil(50ml Penrite 2 stroke motor oil to 1 litre of 91 octane unleaded petrol). this is an EOI as i do need to order a week or 2 in advance. i recieve the bikes after 3 weeks of puting in the order to my mate. it is recomended that you purchase a speedo for the bike as when you run in the motor it is hard to judge the speed as you need to keep it under 20kmp/h. contact me via this thread, pm or you can email me at: trippedoutmonkey@hotmail.com more information of run in and general information will be given at time of purchase or can be email on request. thanks Sam not sure how to add photos but when i find out i will upload a few.
