mFactory is gear type, not clutch type. It's a torsen style like the TRD ones.

mFactory are helical... (Torque multiplier) same as Quaife.
Don't really like much. Prefer a clutch based system.
Nicer on a tight FWD hatch IMO. Not even on coilovers on the roads I drive I have situations of no load on one wheel...
That situation + torque multiplier = may as well have the open diff lol.

I just realised how far off we have gone from Op :/ lol

I may start another thread with discussion about LSD types and selection (pros as cons) for the G series.

also don't go too crazy changing the springs. i've used various spring combo to a 1100kg fwd car. and 7/5 would be the best if you prefer a street performance coilover. 6/4 is you wanna more comfort style coilover.

i currently have a 8/5 combo, but it gets a bit understeery on the front on some occassions, so i'm gonna change the fronts to 7kg when i can. either that or it needs another kg in the rear.
You running upgraded front and rear sway bars?

Well I am definitely going with the front swaybar. Really adds so much front end performance. That's why I was going to go with 6kg all round. Getting BC's is my chance to get it set up for having a front swaybar.

Exactly the post I was looking for!! I'm having the same dilemma, bc's or yellowspeed's, I just want to be tucking tyre and a pretty smooth ride and also be able to take corners at a reasonable speed comfortably...

I'm not happy with my yellow speeds even with a two finger gap An damper need all the way up with pre tention all round an still scrub, the busted jic's I had before these brand new ones were much better, the yellows also make loud ball join noise up front, and in the rear the springs seem to be making noise as of they are re seating ever few mins

Andy's ones are a bit noisy too
Yellows don't seem to go very low without adjusting pretension... Which is just bad.

BC's you can absolutely slam. And they offer an extra low option.
For me it's a no brainier. BC's... They offer so many options and most at zero cost.
More BC users around that yellow's
Every weekend at eastern creek there are heaps of BC users on the track... Yet to see Yellowspeeds. All are very happy with the performance and quality

I spoke to a guy from justjap and he said the BC's aren't meant to be slammed, they only give you a 2 finger gap... Where as Hammo has the yellowspeed's and he can go lower?? Also jess they are the wrong ones so there going back...

Then order them with the extra low option. Pretty sure it's free for that option.
